Healthy Frozen Yogurt Barks
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
2 Tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
½ cup of almonds (optional)
Procedure
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl,mix plain yogurt with the maple syrup or honey and vanilla. Stir it until well combined.
- Spread the yogurt mixture onto a baking sheet about a 1/4 of an inch thick.
- Scatter the sliced strawberries and fresh blueberries on top. Sprinkle with coconut flakes.
- Also add the almonds a bit of extra flavour and crunch. (Almonds is optional)
- Freeze for 2 – 3 hours (or overnight), until the yogurt is set.
- Slide the wax paper with the bark on top of it onto a cutting board and cut it into pieces and serve.
