Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup chocolate chips
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups all- purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
¼ cup butter
2 eggs, beaten

Procedure


1. Preheat the oven to under 350 °F . Grease a 9×9 inch loaf pan and then set aside.
2. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
3. Mix the bananas, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in another bowl. Stir until smooth.
4. Mix the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Do not overmix.
5. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake it in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
8. Using a knife remove the bread from the pan and let it cool on the wire cooling rack. Cut into slices and serve.
